The Tibetan monks of Sera Jey Monastic University are visiting the Well Spiritual Center at 45004 Albion Street in Mendocino for a four-day, spiritual, live-art ceremony creating, ritually destroying and dispersing into flowing water (to emphasize the transitory nature of all things), a Medicine Buddha Sand Mandala depicting the Buddha of Healing, the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings.
In the Tibetan tradition, the Medicine Buddha Mandala helps promote peace, calm, and tranquility in the heart; the happiness that results is transmitted to others, benefiting all beings.
